Can Netlify handle ad traffic?+
Yes, for static and JAMstack sites. Pages are served through a CDN, so a sudden wave of visitors from ads does not bring the site down, as often happens with weak shared hosting. For heavy server-side logic we choose different hosting.
Why Netlify and not Vercel?+
It depends on the stack. For Next.js with server rendering we more often choose Vercel, since the same company develops the framework. Netlify is convenient for static sites, Astro or Gatsby, and has built-in forms that simplify small projects.
How much does Netlify hosting cost?+
It depends on traffic and team size. Small sites often manage on the free plan, while commercial projects with several editors and more traffic need a paid one. We compare current plans for your project before launch.
Can our site be moved to Netlify?+
It depends on how it is built. A static site or one on a modern framework moves quickly, while a WordPress site first needs to switch to a headless approach. We assess this in the Clarity Session.
