Can Firebase handle product growth?+
Yes, the infrastructure scales automatically. But as load grows, so do the bills, so we design the data structure and queries to keep costs predictable. If the product outgrows Firebase, part of the logic can move to a custom backend.
Will we be locked into Google?+
It depends on the architecture. Firebase has its own specifics, and a full move takes work. So where possible we keep business logic separate from platform-specific services, so a move does not mean rewriting the whole product.
