Why Capture One and not Lightroom?+
Lightroom is more convenient for high-volume content editing. We choose Capture One for studio shoots: it is stronger in tethered shooting and precise color work, which is critical for catalogs of clothing, cosmetics and other products where the shade matters.
Can we see the photos during the shoot?+
Yes. The camera is connected to a computer, so every shot appears on screen right away. You can approve the angle, lighting and color on the spot instead of waiting for editing.
Does this guarantee a perfect color match?+
No, not completely. We reproduce color as accurately as possible under controlled shooting conditions, but every buyer's screen displays colors in its own way. So we calibrate the process to keep mismatches minimal.
